Tonight I decided to go traditional full fat, it was a hit.
I guess that must be what my cooking is missing... calories.
Pasta Alfredo
(approx. 6 servings)
1/4 cup butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh Italian parsley
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium low heat. Add cream and simmer for 5 mins, then add garlic and cheese, whisk quickly, heating through. Stir in parsley and serve over pasta. Pair nicely with a desert of 'Husband and kids do the dishes'
